VIRTUAL POWER TASTING SERIES

In these quick and dirty BYOB virtual tasting parties, we will explore one topic in wine or one grape in more depth, all while hanging out and sipping wine in a relaxed, informal, sip-from-home setting. These sessions are intended to be warm and welcoming, with the goal of creating a safe, judgement-free zone for you to ask your most embarrassing wine questions. NOTHING is too basic and nothing is off limits.
Each ticket is good for up to six people in one "household." No wine is included in these sessions. We invite you to grab a bottle (or more) of your favorite wine to go along with each event's theme. Need inspiration? We provide a few suggestions for wines that are widely available for purchase online! See below for upcoming Power Tasting sessions.

WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH SULFITES ANYWAY?
Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 5:00-6:00 PM Pacific Time
Have you ever said, or heard someone say "I'm allergic to sulfites"? Have you ever blamed sulfites for those pesky red wine headaches? Do you find yourself asking what the hell a sulfite even is, and what is it doing in your wine? If you answered yes to any of these questions, or find yourself curious about what does and doesn't go into your wine (since wines don't come with ingredients labels), then this session is for you!
This is a BYOB event! After you register, you will receive a list of suggested wines to grab for the session (at all price points!), along with links to purchase them online. Or, if you would prefer to source your own bottles, you are absolutely welcome to!
These sessions are meant to be fun and informal, with the goal of inviting you to ask all of the questions you are too shy or embarrassed to ask your local sommelier or wine store clerk.
TICKETS: $20 for up to 6 people per household

YES WAY, CHARDONNAY
Thursday, March 4, 2021, 5:00-6:00 PM Pacific Time
Are you part of the "ABC" (Anything But Chardonnay) crowd? In this lighthearted session, we will get to the bottom of why you feel that way, and hopefully change your mind. We will explore two different styles of Chardonnay, and leave you with a few suggestions for picking out a bottle or two that you will fall in love with.
